We’re excited for Youth Group at The Church in Aurora! All students in grades 6-12 are invited to join us. Feel free to bring a friend. All are welcome.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Saturday, February 14 – Service/Volunteer Opportunity, 5-8:30pm

Volunteer to help out at Parent’s Night Out. We will have pizza, play games, make crafts, and watch a family-friendly movie. For 8th-12 graders only.

Sunday, February 22 – Snowtubing at Brandywine/Boston Mills, 1-5pm (tentative time)

Open to all youth in grades 6-12. Last day to sign-up for snowtubing is Friday, February 13.

Sunday, March 1 – Tetelestai at the United Methodist Church of Macedonia, 1-5pm

Tetelestai, “It Is Finished,” is a musical passion play. It’s a way to prepare for the joy of Easter by remembering the ultimate sacrifice of Christ’s passion.

The show starts at 2pm so we’ll meet at the church at 1pm and return to the church around 5pm.

Sunday, March 8 – Service opportunity, TBD

We need adult chaperones and drivers, especially when we go off-site. In order to be able to legally drive for youth church events, a simple background check needs to be completed. Please reach out to either Corey Houlahan or Jen Lynagh if you’re able to drive for any events.

PAST EVENTS

Friday, February 6 – Interfaith Youth Service, 6:15pm

This Interfaith Youth Service is open to all youth in grades 6-12 and will be held at Temple Israel, a Synagogue in Akron. We will be meeting the church and then driving together.

This is an opportunity that invites us to compare, contrast, learn, and ask questions about another faith.
