At our November meeting we took a bit of time to reflect on the many blessings we constantly receive: our families and friends, our homes, our health, food on the table, to name a few. In thanksgiving for these, we are supporting area organizations that assist families and individuals who may be homeless; those in need of medical attention; those who need help with nutritious food or a hot meal; and those who just may need a friend.

Recipients are Haven of Rest Ministries, Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank, Our Community Hunger Center, The City Mission, Coleman Health Services and our own CIA Community Relief Program.

Look for the Giving Tree set up on November 27th  in the Great Hall. You can register an ornament with gift ideas right there, or you can choose to register on line. A link will be provided soon. Gifts must be received by December 11th.

Thank you for sharing the Joy of Christmas!
