Join us for a screening of the documentary 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture, along with dinner and conversation, on Thursday, June 4, from 6:30-9:00pm.

1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture is an award-winning feature documentary that follows researchers as they examine a significant Bible translation decision made in 1946 and explore how it shaped Christian conversations about homosexuality in the decades that followed.

This evening is offered as a chance to learn more about the history of Bible translation, interpretation, and the ways Scripture has been understood across time. After the film, there will be an optional time for conversation.

Here’s the schedule for the evening:

6:30-6:45pm – Welcome and introductions
6:45-8:15pm – Dinner and documentary
8:15-9:00pm – Optional discussion

There is no cost to attend the event, but registration is required so we can plan for dinner.
